The large international academic forum “The 2nd Takao Forum of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery” from November 17th, 2017 to November 19th 2017 was organized by Biomate Medical Technology Company (called Biomate) and division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (called OMFS) Kaohsiung Medical University Chung-Ho Memorial Hospital which was held once every two years.

The topic of The 2nd Takao Forum of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery was “NOVA VISIO”. With great pleasure, we invited many doctors not only just from Taiwan but also from Japan, Korea, Singapore, Hong Kong and Thailand for phenomenal speeches such as subjects “Advanced Oral Cancer Treated with Intraoperative 3D-Navigation System”, “From Demolition to Conservation: Robotic Surgery of Head and Neck” and “The Pathogenesis and the Potential Medical Treatment of Ameloblastoma”.

Biomate has been highly promoting medical technique and high-class implant of Taiwan to every member countries of Association of Southeast Asian Nations (called ASEAN) in order to cooperate the government policy “New Southbound Policy”. Thus, Biomate invited Dr. Kiatanant Boonsiriseth the head and director of the department of oral maxillofacial surgery at Mahidol University to present “Rhinoplasty in Cleft Lip-Nose Deformity”. Furthermore, Biomate also invited senior Prof. Dr. Natthamet Wongsirichat from Mahidol University in Thailand and Dr. Katherena Binti Masnah from the University of Malaya in Malaysia with our two distributors in Thailand to attend 2nd Takao Forum of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
